Apple Siri 101: All About To Know

September 26, 2012 by Technology Blog Leave a Comment

Aplle SIRI steve Jobs

Siri stole everyone’s hearts when she – it – was introduced to the world together with the iPhone 4S. Fast forward a year later and Apple has given Siri a rather cool makeover for the iOS 6. Most analysts expect the new operating system to be launched together with the upcoming iPhone 5. If you are excited about the newest addition to Apple’s smartphone family, you can try sating your excitement a little by learning more about the all-new Siri. She will likely be your best friend once you have the iPhone 5 in your hands.

Sports
Siri is the perfect date for any sport game. It knows everything about hockey, soccer, football, basketball, and baseball. It can provide you everything from player stats to game schedules to real-time scores of the games playing this very minute.

Movies
Siri is your ultimate guide to the silver screen. Aside from screening times and theatre lists, it can also provide you links to movie reviews and trailers as well as interesting tidbits like the awards won by a movie or the total filmography of your favorite actor!

Restaurants
A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. If there’s a guy you want to impress, Siri can show you the best way to do so. It can provide a list of the perfect places to eat based on factors like location, seating preferences, cuisine, and your budget of course. You will also get links to reviews, photos of the restaurant, and Siri can even book you a table through OpenTable.

Get connected!
It used to be that Siri was only capable of typing your emails and SMS. However, Apple made sure to extend Siri’s capabilities with the iOS 6. This time, Siri can also type on your behalf your tweets and wall posts on your Facebook.

Open up, apps!
It used to be that Siri can also “collaborate” with certain built-in applications installed in your iPhone. This time, Siri’s capabilities extend to downloaded third-party applications as well. Just call on Siri and it can open whichever application you have indicated.

Siri merges with your car.
Apple is currently working out a deal with various automobile manufacturers which – if it does push through – will allow you to ask help from Siri with a push-button system integrated with your vehicle’s steering wheel. This way, you will be able to keep your eyes on the road – as it should be – while getting Siri to help you out.

Siri becomes a polyglot.
Well, okay, Siri was already multilingual in the iOS 5 but it knows more languages thanks to its update from iOS 6. Aside from English, Siri also speaks Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin and Cantonese, Japanese, and Korean – among others!

To enjoy nonstop conversation with the all-new Siri from iOS 6, you may want to check if your wireless broadband connection is up to speed. It would be a good idea to check if the 3G service from your mobile phone is also fast enough to get Siri to working seamlessly for you 24/7.

Apple’s Unveiling of the iPhone 5: What Audiences Found Out

September 25, 2012 by Technology Blog Leave a Comment

Apple iphone5

Wednesday, September 12, 2012 is perhaps another remarkable date in Apple’s history. It is during this day when the iPhone 5 is finally unveiled during a media event held at San Francisco. Before this occasion even up to the last day, iPhone 5 rumours which doesn’t seem so for being so accurate, were so prevalent but all of these has finally reached their end now that the creator of iPhone 5 themselves has revealed the said iOS phone.

Apple’s iPhone 5 launch: What the audiences found out
Perhaps, a more appropriate title for this article would be, ‘What Audiences Has Confirmed’. Considering the wide array of reliable 5 rumours covering almost every aspect of the iPhone 5, people already have a lot of ideas about the new iOS smart phone that Apple will launch next.
But one benefit that the audiences got at the September 12 media event at San Francisco is that they were able to witness Apple’s presentation of the iPhone 5 where the iOS 6 functions and the new features were demonstrated. During the presentation, a lot of amazing features were announced by Apple.
Among these are the improved dimensions making the iPhone 5 18 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter than its predecessor, the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 5’s improved dimensions are 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm and 112 grams. Although the iPhone increased its height a bit, it should not get in the way of being more comfortable in one’s hand after the reduction in thickness and weight.
And of course, people weren’t disappointed with their hopes for a bigger screen for the iPhone 5. Apple has finally broken what seems to be their pledge to maintain a 3.5-inch screen for all their iPhone devices and let the iPhone 5 sport a bigger diagonal screen size at 4-inches. Still far from its fierce competitor’s screen size such as the Nokia Lumia 920’s 4.5-inch screen or Samsung Galaxy S III’s 4.8-inch screen but coming from a consistent 3.5-inch screen size for a very long time, people will certainly appreciate the new 4-inch screen size.
Further to the 4-inch screen, Apple also mentioned in the presentation that they were able to add a 5th row of icons in the home screen. Additionally, they increased the pixels up to 640 x 1136 to maintain the crystal clear quality of the display having 326ppi pixel density.
Wireless technology is also updated with the iPhone 5. People can now experience real high speed internet with the LTE technology and faster WiFi reaching up to 150 mbps.
Apple also prepared the battery life for all these improvements, particularly the bigger display and the LTE technology. The iPhone 5’s battery can carry on with 8 hours continuous web browsing through the LTE, 40 hours music playback, 10 hours video streaming, and 225 standby hours.
Amazing features that are also announced during the event, among others are, the FaceTime camera in HD, the improved audio system with microphones at front, bottom and back, Passbook, smarter Siri, and much, much more.
Other than the iPhone 5 features, Apple also divulged other information such as the price range ($199 to $399), the September 14 pre-order date and September 21 shipping date in US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, France, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore and free upgrade of iPhone 3GS, to iPhone 4s, iPad 2 and new iPad, iPod touch fourth generation on September 19.

Android Jelly Bean To Land On Galaxy SIII

August 31, 2012 by Technology Blog Leave a Comment

Galaxy SIII with Android Jelly Bean
Right now, people are already feasting on the new Samsung Galaxy SIII with its amazing features such as the 2GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB storage through the micro SD card, dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor, 4.8-inch SuperAMOLED HD panel enhanced with a 1280 x 720 pixels, 8mp rear camera and 1.9 front camera, to name a few.

However, what most Galaxy SIII owners and spectators should realize is, there is another enhancement that is to come with this remarkable unit, particularly with the operating system. The Samsung Galaxy S III will soon be upgraded to the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The Galaxy S III will be the first device that does not belong to the Nexus line of devices that will be receiving this Android operating system update.

The Jelly Bean update was launched on August 29th. However, this launch is only for the international versions which include the UK among the other countries. Although the Jelly Bean updates for the US and Canada devices are yet to be announced, people can expect this to happen soon.

While the Samsung Galaxy SIII is already functional and as we have mentioned earlier, packed with amazing features, people should be excited as to how this unit will be further improved. Below are among the notable features of the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean that people should fantasize on how it will be executed on the Samsung Galaxy SIII:
·         Improved notifications framework – Those drop down notifications are certainly effective in giving the user a quick information of new updates in the device. But with the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update, people can get more than just quick information. Rich media and different types of content can now be seen such as photos. Users can also perform more actions from the notifications framework.

·         Improved app widgets – Users can now customize the look of their interface by resizing the widgets. As long as there are enough space in the menu where the widget is placed, users can resize it for better accessibility.

·         More efficient app updates – Updates will no longer take much time to finish. With the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, people will only have to receive the bits that are changed, instead of the whole APK. This way, updates are faster and easier consuming less time, bandwidth usage and battery life.

·         Enhancements to Google Beam – Wireless connection can now happen not only between two Android devices but with Android and Bluetooth devices as well.

·         Additions to the TouchWIZ features –Users can manage their device even better with the addition of the dormant mode which will allow the user to change the alerts and notifications settings easier. The Easy mode setting is also an addition to the TouchWIZ feature which will make the operation of the home screen much simpler.
Final Words
The Samsung Galaxy SIII has been sensational due to the amazing features that came with it during its launch. During this status of this unit, it has been compared with other flagship devices by other leading manufacturers. But by having the capability to be upgraded to the latest Android operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, other smart phones should have a harder time beating the Galaxy SIII in the market.

What to do if Accidentally clicked on my own Adsense Ad?

June 9, 2012 by techiefeeds Leave a Comment

Google Adsense accidentally click

I have used a laptop log back and try to avoid it! because I clicked my own adsense ads twice a day while am  moving courser through by blog using touch pad. As our agreement with Google as a publisher I have dug up their rules.

If you don’t Know.

Clicking on your own ads is a violation of Google Adsense terms and conditions. It is also a violation if you coerce friends and families to do the same. Mean while, Google cannot find who the people are but their servers can verify whole clicks received on your ads and smell if there are too many clicks from a relatively small area ( Remember, world is a big place). Google gives importance and value to both Adsense publishers and Advertisers. So, Your Adsense account will disapproved and you/your address should be banned from Google Adsense that means, you cannot create another account.

Invalid Clicks.

This is is term defined excluding accidental clicks. As Google states :

Although publishers are not permitted to click on their own ads for any reason, we do understand that accidental clicks may occur. We there for don’t require that you contact us every time clicks on your own ad slots. Rest Assured that your account is being properly credited for all clicks and impressions we consider to be valid.

If you’d like to read the complete document, found it here. Google keeps a record of wheres clicks came and flags if same activity occurs too often.

If found an Unusual Activity on your Adsense Ad.

If you happen to notice that some unusual click activities on your Adsense Ad, you must notify Google (Adsense) immediately. the notification form can be found here. It is currenlty not possible for Google to block IP addresses. But they have an Adsense preview tool if you would like to check out an ad without clicking it. Found it here.

Own Page views.

Google will not seriously care about this. Its clicking on the ad ads they care about. But Adsense only counts normal page views as their Ad impression. Thats why, Techie Feeds allows its authors to post their ads too and views by our other authors and users will be count normal impression as their.
signup on Techie Feeds here as an author.

Surges in traffic

Google is a smart company and it treat its users brilliantly. So they don’t need if you expect a surge As previously said they know how and when impressions came from.and are more happy if its look normal.

Thanks for Reading this Post.:) If you have any questions or comments, feel free to let me know!
