Well, the good news is, you can get it done in just 3 simple steps.
Yeah, you read it right guys.
Before moving into the details make sure that you’ve installed WPForms on your WordPress site.
Once this is done, install and activate the Stripe addon.
Now let’s get into the details.
Linking Stripe With Your WordPress Site
Open WPForms settings from the left drop-down menu of your WordPress site.
Choose the payments tab in which you can determine the currency in which you would like to carry out the transactions.
Now scroll down to the Stripe section in the same page to see a ‘Connect with Stripe’ button in blue.
Once you click the button, you will be taken to a section where you have to authorize the connection between Stripe and your forms.
The content on this page might differ based on the status of your Stripe account.
When the requirements mentioned in the page is met, you’ll be redirected to your websites admin panel.
Here the checkbox adjacent to the connection status will be marked in green.
Creating Stripe Forms
Once linking Stripe to the WordPress website is complete, you need to create your forms.
For this, you’ll need to create a new form or edit an existing one.
At least two fields are mandatory in a form for Stripe to be able to work with it – item field and credit card field.
You can add any number of fields based on the details you would like to collect to make the transaction and sales.
Adding Stripe to Your Forms
Next, it is the last step which is adding Stripe payments to your forms.
Go to Payments and then Stripe.
Check the box adjacent to ‘Enable Stripe payments’ in the Stripe panel.
You will also be able to enter a short payment description which will be displayed on the user’s credit card statement.
Now, under ‘Stripe Payment Receipt’, add a mail id from which Stripe can send the payment receipt for the transactions.
Great! You’re all set for a one-time payment form your customer.
Now if you wish to go for recurring payments, let’s continue.
Check the box adjacent to ‘Subscriptions’ upon which additional settings will appear.
Fill in the details and your recurring payment is all ready to roll out.
Just three simple steps and your WPForm gets integrated into Stripe payments.
