Anyone can create these contact forms on your WordPress sites and place it on any page as per your requirements.
The process of creating this contact form is as simple as drag and drop.
ActiveCampaign when integrated with WPForms, it becomes powerful enough to take your business to the next level.
WPForms collects necessary details form the website visitors and saves it in the ActiveCampiagn database which will create a follow-up strategy for the visitor based on the details provided.
As simple as that.
Let us see how to integrate WPFroms and ActiveCampaign through simple steps.
1. Install and Activate WPForms Plugin
First things first.
Install and activate WPForms plugin on your WordPress site.
Once this is done, install and activate Zapier addon on your site.
Log in to the Zapier account and click on ‘Make a Zap’ button and by following the instructions provided, create a Zap.
When you are in the ‘Edit Options’ step, choose ‘Newsletter Signup Form’.
You will get a confirmation message.
Now choose WPForms as your trigger app and ActiveCampaign as your action app.
You can find the ActiveCampaign app by searching in the search bar.
It is time to select the ActiveCampaign action.
To automatically add new subscribers to your ActiveCampaign list, choose ‘Create/Update Contact’.
Then click ‘Continue’.
After that, you have to connect your ActiveCampaign account to Zapier.
Click on ‘Connect an Account’.
You will be asked to enter API URL and API key which will be available on your ActiveCampaign account.
Login to your ActiveCampaign account, and choose ‘My Settings’ which is below your profile name.
Now choose ‘Developer’.
The keys will be available and you can copy them to Zapier.
Click on ‘Yes, Continue’.
Next, you have to link each Newsletter form field to the appropriate ActiveCampaign field.
You can run tests to check whether its working or not.
If it’s working well, you can see the imported data on your ActiveCampaign account.
One final step, your WPForms will be linked to the ActiveCampaign account.
Turn on the Zap.
It’s done.
Now, whenever a user fills the contact form, those details will automatically be updated in the ActiveCampiagn database for further interaction.
